Product Design Portal (PDP)
Requirement
Given our company has 5 unique Design Systems covering 5 unique web, mobile and native applications, the requirement for an all-encompassing 'single-source-of-truth' was essential.
Changelogs, Usability Testing, Figma Developer Guides / Links, Documentation, Writing for Interfaces, Dribbble and Ideation / Insights were added to support our pre-requisites: Colours, Typography, Iconography and Components.
Ideation / Collaboration
One of the first things I did when joining Pupil was organise a series of Product Design Portal and Product Design Process sessions with my team and our Product Managers. These Miro sessions defined a clear framework on which to build a better Jira function, focusing on cross-dependencies (in particular).
Design
Without wishing to re-ivent the wheel and given our Design Systems were already well designed and built in Figma, we chose Zeroheight as our platform for the Product Design Portal (PDP).
