Requirement
Display ‘Flight Alerts’ to Travel Counsellor Customers in a simple, yet bold way that’s easy to view - at a glance, to:

  • Ensure an alert was clearly associated with the relevant journey
  • Ensure delays were accurately presented
  • Ensure changed Departure Times, Terminals and Gates were clearly represented
  • Offer customers an accurate timeline, to aid their experience prior to flight, and save a record for any prospective Travel Insurance claims
  • Ideation / Collaboration
    Given the speed in which the updates were required, I worked directly with our iOS and Android Devs to rapidly prototype my designs.

    Design
    As this was a new feature that required quick ‘real user’ validation; we went straight to a high fidelity design prototype (using Photoshop and InVision). Our TC Engagement Team then provided a link for the prototype to some of their customers for comments (via InVision’s built-in collaboration function). By providing a hi-fidelity prototype that was almost as clear in content and functionality as the real application, we were able to quickly validate, that what we were doing was indeed right and should be developed.
